Calm your mind and energize your body with these authentic Yogic techniques. In this session with Indian Yogi Ravi, you’ll learn about the power of Prana (our life force energy) We’ll practice several Pranayama breathing techniques, gentle movements (Sukshma asana) and Mantra. These simple but powerful methods of using your breath, will calm the mind, purify the body and leave you feeling energised! * Note: This class is suitable for all levels and you don't need to wear Yoga clothing to participate.

Presenter Bio

Ravi Dixit ‘The Smiling Yogi’ is an Indian Yoga teacher living in London. He started his Yoga practice at the age of nine when his grandfather taught him how to chant mantras. In his early twenties, he studied Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga and Pranayama while living at Ashrams in Rishikesh. During the last fifteen years, he has been teaching thousands of students across the world, leading workshops, teacher trainings and transformative retreats. Ravi is passionate to bring back the essence of traditional Yoga and making it understandable for everyone. In November 2020 he was critically injured in a road accident and spent over a month in the ICU. He feels that the power of Yoga played an essential part in his survival and recovery. "Yoga is not about the perfect pose, it’s about reconnecting with yourself and finding harmony between you and you. This will bring peace and health to your body and mind.”
