In this session, Kumud will help you to 'EAT YOURSELF Fit' and show you through ways in which you can improve your gut health to make you more resilient to some of the common diseases of today. Making small changes to your food and lifestyle habits can keep you on top of your game and fighting fit. ‘Eating for Immunity' is all about nutrient-dense ingredients to improve your holistic health.

Presenter Bio

Kumud Gandhi is the founder of The Cooking Academy, an award-winning cookery school based in London & Hertfordshire. She is a nutritional food scientist, broadcaster, and published author. Kumud comes from 3 generations of chemists and alchemists. In 2018 she published her first book “A Cupboard Full of Spices”. Today, the main body of her work is in the field of nutritional eating to achieve a lifetime of wellness. She shares the importance of ‘Wellness in the Workplace’ and how it can have a dramatic effect on productivity and personal performance both at home for family life and in the workplace. Kumud and her team work with organisations to develop an understanding of how to achieve optimum wellness for employees’. She is particularly focused on how organisations need to address the issues of eating for menopause, physical, mental and emotional health in the workplace, developing and implementing strategies avoid a second ‘glass ceiling’ – The Menopause years. About Kumud Gandhi Career Kumud graduated from the LSE with 1st class honours degree in Economics and worked as an economist for 13 years in the city of London before retraining in Food Science & Nutrition.
