Learn the Song of the Heart with Sound Pioneer Anne Malone

There’s nothing quite like a Sunday morning at Mind Body Spirit, where the room buzzes with the potential of the day. Last time, in May 2025 at Olympia, hundreds of us were finding our seats, shaking off the weekend haze, waiting excitedly for music. As though she were stepping into Wembley Stadium, onto the stage glides Anne Malone — musician, sound healer, and sound bath pioneer.

She doesn’t begin with words. Instead, Anne invites us to place a hand gently over the heart and breathe. A single tone rises from her, soft and steady, and soon the entire room joins in — a low hum that feels ancient and familiar, the sound of Mind Body Spirit.

‘With each breath,' Anne reminds us, 'you are letting go of the week, the month, the year. And with each breath in, you are welcoming a brand new moment.'

Pretty profound for a Sunday morning, but that’s how we roll. You also don't have to be at Mind Body Spirit to be carried away into such a meditation of sound, but it helps. Better yet, wouldn’t you like to be able to play it for others? Keep reading to find out how.

Anne’s sound secrets

Anne’s secret is she weaves between toning, mantra, and music. At the show, the sacred chant Gurudev Namo flowed through the hall, voices layering together in a harmony that is less about perfect pitch and more about pure presence. She translates the mantra for us, explaining it simply as a love song — a song to universal love, divine love, the love that lives in every one of us.

By the end, crowds are not just an audience. They’re a choir, a community, a family bound together by the rhythm of breath and the beat of hearts. Anne closes with the sacred words Om Shanti, Shanti, leaving us with a deep knowing: peace is possible, and it begins within.
