Rediscover Magic With Your Spirit Animals

What if the world around us is alive with unseen guardians - keepers of trees, flowers, and even the crystals beneath our feet? According to Karen Kay, known by the industry and her friends and family as The Fairy Lady, that’s exactly the case.

And if you come to our festival at the NEC this November, you’re sure to meet more than just fairies...

At the Mind Body Spirit Festival London earlier this year in London, Karen graced our main stage to invite audiences to reconnect with the fairy realm. Fairies are not just whimsical characters from storybooks, she told us, but guardians of nature itself. Whether we’re strolling through a park, sitting under a tree, or simply gazing at the stars, there are countless ways to connect with this playful and magical energy.

Karen shared how the fairies often show themselves in subtle ways - a shimmer of light, a face in a tree, or even a sense of joyful mischief. She encouraged everyone to practice ‘pixie patience' by sitting quietly in nature, opening our hearts, and inviting the fairies to make themselves known.

Her message was simple yet profound: life itself is magical. From the blossoming of a flower to the synchronicities that guide us, everyday moments can be reminders of the wonder all around us. Karen reminded us that even when challenges cloud our perspective, we never lose our own inner magic; it only waits to be rediscovered.

She closed her talk by leading the audience in a resounding ‘YES!' to life, encouraging everyone to celebrate simply being here, alive, and open to joy. In her words, saying 'yes' is like telling the universe: ‘more of this, please’.

Experience the magic yourself this November
If Karen’s words spark something within you, you can step into this world of wonder at the upcoming Mind Body Spirit Festival in Birmingham on 14-16th November. It’s a vibrant celebration of self-discovery, holistic living, and spiritual connection, where you’ll find talks, workshops, and experiences designed to uplift and inspire you.

If you love the idea of communicating with all kinds of spirits, from fairies to your fur baby, we’ve got Caroline Mitchell the Dragon Lady in the Haus of Wisdom tent on Friday at 3.45pm and the sensational Pea Horsley making her MBS return on the main stage on Sunday 16th November at 12pm.

Whether you’re curious about fairies, astrology, meditation, or simply want to connect with like-minded souls, the festival is the perfect place to say ‘yes’ to life’s magic.
