Presenter Bio

Darshna Parmar is a highly experienced yoga instructor with over two decades of teaching expertise, dedicated to enhancing both physical and mental wellbeing through yoga. Since beginning her yoga journey in 1999 and completing her teacher training in 2009, she has cultivated a deep knowledge of Asana, Pranayama, and meditation, delivering transformative sessions tailored to diverse groups, including professional athletes and mental health communities.

She currently teaches at Triyoga London and leads beginners’ yoga classes, alongside conducting private 1-to-1 sessions. Her extensive experience includes working with mental health rehabilitation centers, NHS facilities, and various community groups. Darshna holds a 500-hour Teaching Diploma from the British Wheel of Yoga, along with a 500-hour Yoga Sport Science Diploma, and specialist qualifications in Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga.

Beyond physical practice, Darshna is passionate about yoga philosophy, continuously deepening her knowledge through studies of the Gita, Upanishads, Kundalini Yoga, and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. She has also completed multiple Vipassana meditation retreats and advanced workshops on pranayama, meditation, and mantra.

Her teaching style is inclusive and engaging, ensuring that each student, regardless of experience level, feels supported and empowered on their yoga journey.
