Lynne Franks OBE

Legendary PR Guru Lynne Franks is a change maker, futurist, writer, mentor, educationalist, entrepreneur and founder of SEED Women's Empowerment Network. She created the country's most successful fashion PR agency in 1969 at 21, launched London Fashion Week on the global stage and represented many of the world's top designers, entertainers, and brands. Lynne created the UK's first women's festival 'What Women Want' in 1995, looking at all aspects of women's lives in a rapidly changing world of internet, enterprise and female empowerment. She lived in California for a number of years where she ran her US agency, Globalfusion PR, while writing several books, including her L.A. Times best-seller Absolutely Now, A Futurist's Journey to Her Inner Truth. In 2000 her internationally popular The SEED Handbook, The Feminine Way to Create Business was published and became the basis for a body of training content, which has been delivered to a wide section of society from women's prisons to African rural villages to corporate boardrooms. Lynne now lives in Somerset in the South West of England where she runs the SEED Hub, a nurturing retreat centre.
