Presenter Bio
Catarina is a devotional singer and sound artist with a strong passion for embodied sound.
Catarina’s journey with her voice whilst studying opera led her to yoga. She has specialised in
using sound and voice to encourage people to feel, be present and accept themselves as they
are.
Adding to her work in yoga studios and schools, Catarina also runs community choirs and singing
groups for people living with dementia.
She strongly believes that music and sound are universal languages, and they have the power to
bring us back to ourselves, but also to connect with each other, empowering society overall.
