Workshop Details

Positivity can be learnt, and the results are life-transforming.

We currently live in a time of unprecedented challenges, uncertainty, overwhelming stress, loss of hope at times and a need for mental strength and adaptability to a new way of life. This unique live workshop is a practical psychological system in how to survive and thrive.

High achievers often refer to having ‘the edge’ - that factor that makes them successful. However, this event is not about being a super-achiever, it’s about discovering your own natural most powerful resources for self-care, self-belief and taking control of your life.

Positivity is a relatively new, but popular word synonymous with optimal states of mind, resilience, good decisions, and actions that lead to successful results in life. It is not the same as traditional ‘positive thinking’, just hoping for the best, trying to constantly tell yourself that everything is OK, no matter the circumstances. There is now irrefutable scientific evidence that shows that particular ways of thinking and acting produce tangible positive results in people’s ability to deal with challenges, extreme circumstances and their overall quality of life.

Whilst it is not possible to be upbeat and positive every second of our lives, research shows that some people are much happier and resilient than others and simply, the more often we are in resourceful states of mind and body, the better our health and overall quality of life will be. The research also shows that this mindset can be quickly learned just like any habit and with tangible results. Given our current circumstances, many people need to get control of their anxiety and fears so they can think clearly and have the bandwidth or space in their thinking for hope and confidence and the ability to see opportunities.

When people stop living in overwhelming stress, they are able to adapt and become more flexible and resilient. For example, when it comes to flexibility, we know from science that the law of Requisite Variety tells us that the part of a system that has the greatest flexibility will always end up in control of that system. Through modern psychological thought experiments, you will be able to find opportunities and solutions to problems where you were previously stuck. When you think more creatively, you can respond to challenges in ways which may not have occurred to you, giving you the ability to adapt to any situation and an edge in today’s competitive world.
