Presenter Bio
Born in Japan, Yumiko is a distant descendant of the Japanese Emperor and belongs to a famous Samurai family also known for fostering Japanese spiritual arts, Japanese astronomy (Onmyōji), alchemy and integrative medicine (Western and Eastern). She began to show signs of spiritual enlightenment from an early age, growing up in a remote village in the mountains and developing a close connection with nature. Yumiko began teaching and quickly became highly respected among spiritual teachers and healers in Japan. In 2000, she founded her own education institution, Leaves Institute, and started teaching in the UK and internationally.
